About the Festival
The 2nd Annual Avy's Sunshine Kite Festival is a free heartwarming, community event dedicated to honoring the lives of lost loved ones. This free public event invites participants to decorate and fly kites in memory of those they hold dear while enjoying activities, games, vendors, and shared moments of joy. The kite festival also acts as a fundraiser for Avy's Sunshine Tribe, a nonprofit organization working to build a much-needed playground in honor of Avy, a beloved child who was tragically killed in a car crash at the age of almost two.

🪁 Kites are provided! Join us to decorate and fly a kite, live DJ, Face painting, Ice cream cart, water activities, games, local vendors, free small toy and more!
If you can't make it in person, You can still participate!
Here are some ways to join in from anywhere:
- Donate $10 and send us a message with your lost loved ones name/message and we will decorate and fly a kite in their honor!
- Get outside and fly your own kite where you live! Take pics/videos and tag us!
- Host a satellite event! Contact us for support!
